延長(cháng)蛋白 extensin是存在于植物細胞壁中的羥脯氨酸（Hyp）占有高比例的糖蛋白。細胞壁中含達2—10％，Hyp占構成蛋白質(zhì)的氨基酸的20％以上，在其他蛋白質(zhì)中則絲氨酸（Ser）的含量高。由于可以控制植物細胞的伸展（ex-tersion），故稱(chēng)為伸展蛋白。在生長(cháng)旺盛的幼齡期的細胞中含量少，生長(cháng)速度遲緩時(shí)含量增加，因而認為具有對細胞壁不易伸展的作用。其蛋白質(zhì)部分具有－ser－Hyp－Hyp－Hyp－Hyp的氨基酸序列，Hyp殘基許多有3—4個(gè)阿拉伯糖所構成的寡糖；而Ser殘基許多具有1—2個(gè)半乳糖。脯氨酸羥化是在肽合成后進(jìn)行，催化此過(guò)程的肽基脯氨酸羥化酶需要二價(jià)鐵離子，可被鐵離子絡(luò )合劑的a′－dipyridyl 所抑制。肽的脯氨酸羥化后，細胞器的糖鏈結合，被分泌到細胞外，納入細胞壁中。 |
